Tom has more than 35 years of experience working with individuals, families, businesses, and non-profit organizations in the financial services area. One of the benefits of working with Tom is his ability to provide clear, easily understood explanations of financial products and services. He also works with CPAs and attorneys to facilitate a more well-rounded perspective of his clients’ wealth management picture. The personalized program he provides serves as a road map to working toward the financial future his clients envision.
Tom attained the Certified Financial Planner™ certification from the College for Financial Planning and earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Tom believes in giving back to the community where one lives whenever possible. He and his wife have been involved in scouting, coaching, and teaching youth. Tom has lived in the Milwaukee area for over 30 years and in Wisconsin all his life. Tom believes that being involved in a youth program, a community group, a church group, or other group that brings people together for the common good can be a rewarding experience and fun. He encourages everyone to do something like this if possible; if nothing else, because of the friendships it can create for you.
Tom and his wife have two adult children. They love nature, gardening, bird-watching, hiking, and biking on occasion. The family has camped in Denali, Yellowstone, Glacier, Rocky Mountain, Yosemite, the Grand Tetons, the Great Smokies, Mount Rainier, and Isle Royale National Parks. Fishing is left to Tom’s brother-in-law and nephew. They always seem to bring in Northern, Crappie, and other pan fish, and they put Tom’s fishing techniques to shame.
